NOTICE OF VACANT POSITION
Applications are being accepted for the following vacancy on the Non-Teaching Professional staff of Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, New York.
Television/Multimedia Production Technicians HV-NTP-2013
Positions are part-time
In order to be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. Please note: HVCC does not sponsor VISAs.
These are part-time positions (free-lance) associated with the Instructional Technologies Department. We are creating a registry of qualified technicians to be deployed as needed for day/evening assignments. A vacancy may not currently exist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in television or related discipline with practical experience while in school (OR) Associate's Degree in television or related discipline and two years of experience in broadcast television production or related field (OR) two years of training in broadcast television production or related field from an accredited institution and experience stated above (OR) relevant experience will be accepted on a one-to-one basis as a substitute for required education. Ability to operate television production, transmission and multimedia equipment, in the following environments: television studio, theatre, distance learning classrooms, remote locations or other multimedia related areas. Must be able to display and maintain a professional demeanor while working with high profile clients.

• Audio Mixing
• Character Generator
• Videoconferencing Support
• Lighting
• Multimedia equipment set-up, operation
• Installation and maintenance
• Non-Linear Editing (Avid and Premiere)
• Computer graphics
• Set Design & Fabrication
• Teleprompter
• Video Camera (remote and studios)
• Video Recording and Media Duplication
• Video Switchers/TD
• Video Streaming Support
SALARY RANGE: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
