Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE: HPP) is looking for a Financial Analyst to evaluate and forecast the financial impacts of business decisions related to sales, leasing, construction, development, acquisitions, and capital expenditures within the company's portfolio of production studios. The portfolio includes three studio lots (Sunset Bronson Studios, Sunset Gower Studios, and Sunset Las Palmas Studios) with 36 modern soundstages that have been home to many of television's most successful shows and award-winning movies.
What You'll Do
• Collaborate with the Director of Studio Finance & Planning on financial analysis and forecasting for the Sunset Studio properties.
• Analyze operational and financial impacts due to construction and development and adjusting forecasts accordingly.
• Monitor and update monthly forecast and maintaining individual property models to show the financial impact on both Cash and GAAP NOI.
• Assist in the quarterly and year-end financial closes, including reviewing quarterly financial trends and providing support for financial reporting.
• Maintain rent roll and performing quarterly revenue reconciliations for the studio portfolio.
• Assist in the annual budget preparation through review of property-level revenue and capital spend for accuracy and analyze comparative models for final presentation to the executive team.
• Analyze financial and operational data to assist the sales & leasing team with deal structures, to determine assumptions for potential acquisitions, and to assess capital expenditures or operational initiatives.
What You'll Need
• 2-3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Strategy Consulting, or Business Development related to entertainment or commercial real estate
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics, or other related field
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
