Full Time Job
Title: Human Resources Administrator
Supervisor: Sr. Director, Human Resources
Classification: Full-time/Exempt
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Administrator will support the day-to-day administration of all human resources matters, including employee inquires, benefits elections, transactions, employee programs and compliance.
Essential Functions:
• Deliver high level customer service to employees, colleagues and external partners by providing timely and accurate responses to requests and inquires.
• Conduct benefits orientations to advise on eligibility, costs and coverage.
• Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Audit, reconcile and pay monthly insurance statements and premiums.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, including required notice distribution, non-discrimination testing, internal reviews of benefits plans & deductions.
• Continuously research and communicate changes and updates to benefits regulations and law.
• Heavy data entry within HRIS.
• Responsible for file retention, employee file management, employee case management, and department records.
• Handle Leave Management in HRIS including but not limited to Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Military Leave, Vacation, Sick, and Holidays.
• UKG Pro login requests and password reset.
• Coordinate exit interviews and off-boarding.
• Completes Verification of Employment/Benefits requests and unemployment claims.
• Distributes department office mail, preparation of mass communication mail outs, and route player mail to home and/or affiliates.
• Assist with creating and posting internal communications.
• Actively engages in the continuous improvement of human resources processes/procedures and current HR programs.
• Identify trends in employee questions and feedback; proactively look for opportunities to improve the employee experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
• Knowledge of employee benefits programs and the relevant laws and regulations that govern them, including medical, dental, vision, life, short and long term disability, COBRA, ERISA, flexible spending accounts and health savings account.
• Ability to interpret the various health or disability plans and associated documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate benefit concepts in an understanding and empathetic manner.
• Ability to handle confidential matters and information with discretion and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher.
• Prioritize daily issues, tasks and projects in a faced-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently; self-starter with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Experience with UKG Pro is a plus.
Education
and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Bilingual – English & Spanish preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phone and copy machine/scanner.
