This is a Full Time Job
The Music Research team works closely with production segments across The Walt Disney Company on music cue sheets for their iconic brands. Our goal is to ensure the timely delivery of music reporting to performing rights organizations and interested parties worldwide for music in productions presented by our world-class entertainment studios. Timely cue sheet reporting impacts performance income for the music properties related to The Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with production parties on initial requests for production onboarding and cue sheet program set-ups.
• Secure, track, and provide acquisition cue sheets to PROs.
• Research: Locate and provide cue sheets for teams across the Disney enterprise. Conduct research on songs and writer/publisher information.
• Process domestic and international cue sheets as assigned for reporting to PROs and various production stakeholders.
• Create quarterly music video cue sheets, promo reporting, and handle various tasks as assigned by the department head.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of cue sheet preparation experience
• General music business knowledge (music publishing, licensing, and performing rights)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to problem solve
• Able to work under deadlines
• RapidCue, Soundmouse, or other automated cue sheet program experience is a plus
Required Education
• College degree or equivalent work experience
