NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. You MUST have at least three years experience managing a roster of literary talent, existing network of industry contracts and the ability to excel at your job on day one.
Holloway Literary, a boutique literary agency based in North Carolina is establishing a LA-based TV/motion picture literary management department. We are looking for driven and experienced literary talent managers or agents to represent tv/film screenwriters, directors, actor-hyphenates or producers. This could be a great opportunity for a literary assistant / junior agent with at least 3 years experience in literary talent management; Or a career promotion for a talented literary manager with at least 5 years experience and a supervisory background.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience at a talent agency / management firm. Serious candidates only.
NOTE: Position is starting at commission ONLY, however there is a potential for a base + commission after annual performance review.
Requirements
Ambitious, motivated go-getters with a positive attitude.
Familiar with script coverage, feedback, script notes.
Be detail oriented.
Prefer managers that have client list.
Experienced with books, scripts (theatrical & television), and other literary pieces.
Interest on the production side
Good with phone pitches
Have established relationships with studio executives / development teams
Are organized, professional, and have good communication skills.
Want to have flexibility in their work schedule & work from home and meet with clients at the office.
Must work well independently and within a team environment
