HITRECORD is looking for a highly organized, intuitive and responsible person to serve as a paid full-time Coordinator in its Creative Development Department. The position is designed for individuals with interest and experience in Content Development and Production for Music, Television, Digital, Branded and more. The ideal candidate will have assistant experience at either a production company, agency, or network, strong creative writing skills, experience in writing copy, and express interest, knowledge, and experience in development of content across multiple forms of media.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
-The Creative Development Coordinator will work closely with HITRECORD's Director of Development & Production, and Production Manager.
-Write and assist with copywriting and creation of pitch decks, show bibles + materials - specifically for branded partnerships and opportunities
-Manage + maintain Project Development Grids + Tracking Systems.
-Manage calendar + schedule for Director of Development & Production, and coordinate Creative Department schedule
-Managing approval / notes process for projects (i.e. - time to read & review material, prepare for meetings, etc.)
-Prioritize time, and maintain a daily to-do list in a fast-paced, changing environment
-Assist Production Manager in ensuring projects are progressing forward appropriately
-Coordinate Resident Curators + Key Community Artists - assigning them to projects, and communicating creative direction.
-Prepare materials for creative meetings + reviews.
-Take notes at creative meetings + update Development grids accordingly
-Assisting with technological needs and processes (camera set-up and recording, graphic design, etc)
-Assist with producing music projects and help with production of albums/music videos
-Work with the Office Manager to assist in coordination of Creative Department interns
-Curation + awareness of promising material + creative projects on HitRECord.org
-Be an active member of the HitRECord community and participate in artistic projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Exceptional communication and writing skills
-Strong Organization Skills
-Experience with and interest in branded content development and production
-Obsessive attention to detail
-Available for a full-time position, and currently living in the greater Los Angeles area
-Ability to maintain multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through their completion
-Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of time management and organization
-Mac-savvy, and proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Calendar
-Outstanding problem-solving skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced and deadline-driven environment
-Positive attitude and collaborative
-Proactive. Immense initiative -- you're always thinking about what can be done
-Willingness to work rare nights and/or weekends when needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Prior assistant desk work at an agency, production company, network, or management company
-Extensive experience in scheduling for busy desk(s) where priorities fluctuate
-Prior internships or production assistance work in the entertainment or creative arts industries
-Experience interacting with members of an online community or similar environment
-Passion for developing ideas from a seed to a finished product - regardless of genre or format
-Experience with creating media, such as graphic design, video, video editing, creative writing, etc.
