HFG's diversified production and sales slate includes: Joe Carnahan's Boss Level starring Frank Grillo, Naomi Watts and Mel Gibson; Michael Cristofer's The Night Clerk starring Tye Sheridan, Ana de Armas and Helen Hunt; Marc Meyer's thriller We Summon the Darkness starring Alexandra Daddario; Shawn Ku's action thriller A Score to Settle starring Nicolas Cage; Vaughn Stein's Terminal starring Margot Robbie, which released earlier this year; the star-studded Berlin, I Love You with Helen Mirren, Keira Knightley, Jim Sturgess, Mickey Rourke, Diego Luna, and Jenna Dewan Tatum; Lin Oeding's thriller Braven starring Jason Momoa; Steven C. We're currently seeking an intern for the marketing/communication department. The right candidate will be exposed to a bustling film distribution environment and will be working on the marketing elements of our films (synopses, trailers, posters…), international distribution of our available titles and preparation for various international film markets.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and hard-working. This is an ideal entry-level job for someone looking to enter the movie industry.
Responsibilities Include:
Helping to create marketing strategies and benchmarking analyses for our new titles
Helping to create trailers, promos, posters and write synopses for all our titles
Helping to create blast emails to send to our international distributors
Reaching out to international distributors to update release dates of our latest titles and helping in our daily communication
Assisting in the preparation of HFG events (film markets, screenings, parties…)
Ensuring that daily marketing operations run smoothly.
Requirements Include:
Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Good verbal and written skills
Multitasking and organization skills
Any prior experience in the movie industry is a plus
Proficiency in Photoshop, Mailchimp or FilmTrack is as plus.

Transportation expenses are covered. Interns can work a minimum of 15 hours/week and up to a maximum of 20 hours/week.
This internship is based in Mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles (6310 San Vicente Blvd, 90048).
