Full Time Job
This position is part of Herschend Entertainment Studios , which is the media arm of Herschend Enterprises and sister company to Herschend Family Entertainment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager will work closely with the HES team and be responsible for the following:
BRAND VISUAL IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT
Oversee the creation of brand style guides for HES and all ancillary HES IP
Draft and manage all brand-centric RFP processes for style guide or style guide assets
Cultivate and manage relationships with various creative agencies in order to maintain a network of trusted service providers
Create templates (PowerPoint templates, one-sheet templates, etc.) for branded collateral - either develop templates or oversee development by Brand Manager
Oversee the creation and proper maintenance of a well-organized Digital Asset Repository for all HES and HES IP assets primarily for internal use (e.g. Dropbox)
Oversee the creation and proper maintenance of a well-organized online style guide for each HES franchise primarily for external use, delivery via MyMediaBox
LICENSING
Provide brand oversight and approvals for all extensions of HES IP, across internal business units as well as for HES licensing opportunities
Provide marketing assistance for activations and ongoing campaigns
Oversee the proper utilization of MyMediaBox's Product Approval's platform in support of HES VP and external licensing agents (Day-to-day implementation and licensee interaction to be managed by Brand Manager)
Serve as HES's ongoing main point of contact for all HES IP toy deals, in support of HES VP
Manage activation schedule with partners and licensees and provide monthly status reports
Manage all HES IP samples inventory, including Chuggington Sample Inventory in local public storage unit
MASTER TOY PARTNERSHIPS
Serve as HES's ongoing main point of contact for all HES IP toy deals, in support of HES VP
Represent HES's interests and position throughout the life of toy licensing partnerships and filter requests and questions from toy partners through HES accordingly
Manage activation schedule with partners and licensees and provide monthly status reports
Manage all HES IP samples inventory, including Chuggington Sample Inventory in local public storage unit
MARKETING COLLATERAL
Develop or oversee development of branded collateral for HES and HES IP for all internal and external partners, as well as all marketing initiatives
Presentations and one-sheets
Licensing agent overview decks and one-sheets
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Represent HES at industry conferences and events (Kidscreen, Licensing Expo, etc.)
Draft Statements of Work for brand and marketing projects for all contractors and partners; Liaise with legal and executive team leadership to get contracts fully executed
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to enhance HES growth trajectory
Provide research and analysis upon request on entertainment industry marketing and branding trends, IP history, etc.
Manage day to day brand projects for Brand Manager in UK, including existing and new IP efforts
SPONSORSHIPS/PARTNERSHIPS
Partner with internal and external resources to identify opportunities for revenue generating sponsorships and brand enhancing partnerships
Manage activations from a brand standpoint including approvals and asset access
Develop or oversee development of branded collateral for HES and HES IP for sponsorship or brand partnership opportunities (Sponsorship overview decks, menus, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
BA or BS degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
Experience in Marketing for TV and/or Film
Must demonstrate a passion for media, entertainment and brand marketing
Preference given to candidates with experience in brand marketing, including:
o Experience creating branded collateral utilizing relevant tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.)
o Experience developing style guides

Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
