Digital Community Manager (freelance)
Litton Entertainment is looking for a qualified, savvy Digital Community Manager to develop the digital and social media presence for a new network television series debuting this fall.
In direct collaboration with the production team, they will manage and aggregate digital content across multiple digital channels - including the usual social media outlets - and proactively find new methods of digital distribution for our content. They will coordinate with other digital distribution partners and organize live distribution events. They will directly interface and communicate with the series sponsor, and they will set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with series distribution schedules.
This person will be the main point of e-contact between the series and online viewers. They will provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts and will own all aspects of monitoring/responding on blogs, sites, portals, and social networks. They will engage in online conversations, report, and optimize the customer service and social media experience of the series.
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of community management experience
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Snapchat
• Experience with female tween/teen-friendly platforms a plus
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms and monitoring
• Interest in/familiarity with STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) topics a plus
• Scrappy self-starter who can work independently, move fast and change often
• Knowledge of measurement tools and ability to respond
• Familiarity with managing blogs, discussion forums, ratings, and reviews
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across an organization
