KCWE-TV, Hearst Television's CW affiliate in Kansas City, is seeking a Creative Services Promotion Writer Producer with exceptional production skills. The qualified candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, producing, editing and animating fun promotional messages in support of our entertainment-oriented programming -- including syndicated comedies, The CW Network, and our unique animated, talking character named ''CWAG The Dog''. The candidate should be well-versed in creating promotion designed for on-air, digital, and social platforms. Additionally, candidates will create sales promotion messaging, sweepstakes promotion, and sizzle reels for sales support as needed. The candidate will work with KCWE Promotion Manager as needed to coordinate and schedule KCWE's Street Team Ambassadors, and CWAG The Dog costumed mascot performers. Interested candidates should possess top-level graphic design, animation (both 2D and 3D), video and audio editing skills. Also, a candidate with the ability to draw and illustrate a cartoon-like character is highly preferred.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Senior level proficiency in 2D and 3D animation using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D Studio, plus Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Adobe Character Animator, and Adobe Audition, plus the ability to hand illustrate/draw preferred.
• Consistent record of performance conceptualizing, writing and producing engaging and entertaining promos.
• Exceptional collaboration and idea generation skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
