Job Summary:
This role serves both private party and commercial clients place ads in print and online. In addition, to quickly responding to all inbound inquiries, this role will also make outbound calls to renew and sell new revenue.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Answer all inbound calls in a timely fashion. When calls must go to voicemail, ensure all are returned within an hour. (unless messages are left overnight)
• Make minimum level of outbound calls daily to expired or new prospects
• Achieve revenue targets monthly
• Fill in for legals and obits teammates when needed
Competentcies/Critical Skills:
• Attention to detail is an important skill required to perform this role with success
• Customer service expertise is a must
• The ability to upsell and make cold calls is a key component of success in this role
• The ability to work with systems of varying types is required
• Spanish speaking ability a plus
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements, Education:
• Experience in a call center environment
• Strong digital acumen
• High school diploma or equivalent
Business Relationships:
This position will work with private individuals and business owners externally. Internally this position will work with the extended team, systems, and a manager.
Describe the most challenging aspect of this position:
Working with private consumers and small businesses who may be digitally challenged and needing a patient, knowledgeable partner to place their ad.
