Your impact:
ThePioneerWoman.com is seeking a video editor to manage the brand's video editing efforts across TPW.com, Facebook, and Instagram. The video editor will report to our Video Producer and assist with creative development, production, and post-production, as well as editing scripts and videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the digital landscape and a strong drive to create engaging editorial video content that offers a fresh, fun, on-brand approach to The Pioneer Woman's food and recipe vertical.
In addition to having a great eye, this person must be able to collaborate seamlessly with our edit team and Food Director to bring The Pioneer Woman's recipes to life in video Ideal candidates will be proficient in all post-production stages, from ideation to execution, as well as have a working knowledge of all production stages.

Responsibilities:
• Complete daily edits of videos and submit for approval in a timely manner
• Find appropriate music and apply to videos
• Make daily adjustments to videos based on creative direction, platform requirements etc.
• Occasionally contribute to video shoots
• Maintain archive of files and assets on server
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in communications or other relevant field
• 3-5 years professional video editing experience
• Ability to draft storyboards/shot lists
• Strong understanding of Adobe CC including Premier, After Effects and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge and understanding of video codecs, resolution parameters, and editing platforms
• Experience creating stop motion and time-lapse compositions
• Strong decision making skills in editing videos
• Ability to organize and manage resources and assets to maintain workflow
• Knowledge of Canon camera systems, workflow and codecs
• Basic knowledge of color correction
• Knowledge of Dragon Frame stop motion software a plus
• Recipe video experience is preferred
