Hearst is seeking an innovative recruiter who will be responsible for handling full cycle talent acquisition for various positions including digital, sales & marketing and editorial.
Responsibilities:
• Develop timely, cost-effective staffing strategies to identify and attract a diverse pool of qualified tech candidates for all job openings
• Leverage multi-channel sourcing solutions to develop a diverse pipeline of candidates for current and future job openings (cold calling, networking, job postings, employee referrals, social media, events, schools, etc.)
• Strategically craft and send recruiting emails to create interest
• Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements to identify exceptionally qualified candidates
• Stay current on industry trends, actively seeking new channels of sourcing to engage talent
• Use an array of tools to build robust pipelines (Boolean Searches, ATS, Networking events, etc.)
• Be active and develop relationships within the different networking communities and colleges; represent Hearst at industry events
• Evangelize the company and effectively communicate Hearst's value proposition to top talent, working to increase and strengthen the brand in the market
Requirements:
• Requires 2 years of recruiting/sourcing experience (in-house or agency); previous media, digital or tech experience a plus
• Ability to handle high volume recruiting across all levels
• Demonstrated strength for using various sourcing techniques
• Proven track record of success in delivering diverse, quality candidates
• Ability to meet growing pipeline demand in a dynamic environment
• Works both independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
• Experience developing deep talent channels and communities for hard to find talent through strong research and creativity
• Solid experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment
• Demonstrable success building and maintaining strong networks
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
