Hearst Magazines seeks a Support Analyst to assist revenue teams in their use of Salesforce. This individual will work with sales teams to educate, manage issues, identify opportunities and extend capabilities to increase adoption, value and relevance of tools and systems. The candidate should be very familiar with Salesforce, Reporting tools and be comfortable providing hands on and telephone service to people. This position is based in New York City.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Understand all current and upcoming tasks within the systems supporting revenue operations
2. Maintain and create reporting / visual dashboards to increase value of information available
3. Support workflow issues and identify opportunities to simplify processes
4. Triage and manage support issues revenue teams have with tools, documenting to support changes for continuous improvement
5. User acceptance testing of changes as they are introduced prior to release to the revenue teams
6. Maintain presence and positive relationships among multiple revenue teams to ensure there is ongoing support and understanding of opportunities/needs
7. Propose enhancements to the product team
Key Skills
1. 2-3 years Salesforce experience. Salesforce certification is preferred
2. Experience with media sales organizations a plus
3. Proficient in use of reporting tools including Salesforce.com, DOMO, Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools
4. Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
