Your Impact
HearstMade is seeking a Senior Director, Partnerships. The Senior Director, Partnerships for HearstMade is a commercial leader, responsible for building and developing new business to drive revenues across all partnership mediums. As Senior Director, Partnerships you will be sourcing, negotiating, executing and nurturing strategic partnerships to ensure both immediate and long-term success. The partnerships that you develop will influence company strategy.
You will also contribute to the campaign design and execution thereof in a manner that serves both client and partner key business objectives. A typical day for this role might include sourcing prospective partners, ideating a campaign for partner integration, debriefing team(s) on upcoming partnerships and their campaign objectives, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure precise execution of campaigns all while maintaining positive partner relationships that will ensure future work together.
What You Will Do
In this role you will develop a target list of key accounts by category, build relationships with key decision makers within those companies, develop unique, revenue generating and mutually beneficial partnerships, negotiate and close partnership agreements and see partnerships through activation and renewal. Partnership models may vary by deal and category, so you should be comfortable with both revenue generating sales, as well as product integration, branded events and activations.
• Identify key partners to strengthen the brand as well as organizations that align with clients' core values
• Identify revenue opportunities and creative ways to grow the business
• Source new opportunities and manage existing relationships across industries that align with the long term strategic vision of the brand
• Manage deal negotiations, partnering with internal and client-side teams to establish terms sheets and deal parameters
• Lead the execution of deals post-close ensuring deal performance against KPIs by building cross-functional internal alignment around each opportunity
• Lead all co-marketing contract negotiations to deliver the greatest level of marketing support / exposure for our clients
• Create and execute activation plans to maximize the reach and impact of partnerships
• Review all solicitations received for co-branding activities to determine brand fit and cross marketing opportunities
