Good Housekeeping a leading women's magazine with an audience of over 18 million, is seeking a Sales Associate, Special Projects Manager for our Good Housekeeping Emblem. Based out of our New York office, the position will play a lead in selling these emblems to advertisers whose products have been tested and approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute. Our ideal candidate will have passion for selling, be an exceptional communicator, and maximize advertising revenue through a passionate understanding of our brand and advertising solutions.
Responsibilities include:
• Work with Edit and Sales team to successfully deliver against Good Housekeeping Emblem sales goals
• Manage and grow account revenue by achieving weekly sales call volume and meeting benchmarks
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders in the media buying process the value of these emblems.
• Develop weekly sales forecasts in order to track established benchmarks
The ideal candidate will possess:
• 4-year College degree
• Internship experience in media, Public Relations a plus
• Having a comfort and familiarity with social media and ecommerce abilities of social media
• Passion for our brand and a desire for career in media
• Professional presence with strong phone, written and presentation skills
• Must be energetic, an effective communicator, and have the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Results-oriented track record
• Enjoy being part of a team but willing to think outside the box to achieve sales goals
