Hearst
Magazines Media Platform team is seeking an exceptional Product Manager,
Monetization to participate on a team focused on developing ad operations
automation tools for Hearst Media. You will have the opportunity to work with
world-renowned magazine brands including including Car and Driver, Road &
Track and Autoweek in addition to the rest of the Magazine portfolio that
includes Men's Health, Bicycling, Runner's World, ELLE, and Cosmopolitan.
Your
Impact
You will work
closely across stakeholders including the Automotive and Revenue teams -
focused on reducing operational overhead and enabling deeper, strategic ad
optimization. You will balance the needs of vast automotive ad network, direct
publisher ad sales and a global programmatic ad executions. You will leverage
the scale and resources of a successful, well-known business combined with the
nimbleness and forward-looking feel of a startup.

way ad operations has historically been handled.
What
you'll do
• Drive
product execution on a team dedicated to building ad operations automation
tools.
• Analyze,
determine and prioritize target customer, end-user, and internal stakeholder
needs.
• Develop
strategies and execute plans to enable faster and more strategic ad campaign
management while upholding quality.
• Own
overall metrics: efficiency and quality of operational tasks.
• Ensure
intuitive and efficient user flows across all teams, coordinating closely with
senior leadership.
• Define
and communicate a portion of the product roadmap aligned with company
objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and
competitive analysis.
• Collaborate
with cross-functional stakeholders to build tools that scale for a diverse set
of owned and operated and affiliate publishers.
• Ensure
appropriate customer research, usability testing and rapid prototyping. Ensure
a valuable, engaging and enjoyable end-user experience.
• Document,
validate and prioritize product specifications within an Agile/SCRUM
development environment.
• Lead
build vs. buy evaluations for key integrations ensuring we are investing
prudently in core competencies and
technologies and partnering where more appropriate.
