At Hearst Magazines Digital Media you will join a diverse, supportive community of designers creating new experiences in digital media. We are looking for a skilled digital product designer with a strong background in user experience design for data tools such as analytics displays, marketing tools and dashboards. You will join a cross-functional team of product owners, engineers and business leads focused on enabling optimization of traffic campaigns on multiple platforms against our global portfolio of media content.
Responsibilities:
• Design, test and help build streamlined interface solutions for data tools
• User research and prototyping
• Work end-to-end with engineers and product owners
Our ideal candidate:
• Possesses powerful communication skills
• Prefers teamwork and collaborative design practices
• Takes a LEAN approach to design and prototyping
• Flourishes in fast-paced environments
• Owns their work from concept to live production
Requirements:
• 2 years designing for web or mobile products with a focus on customer experience or media
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Working, professional knowledge of industry design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Framer,
• Experience with SCSS, front-end design systems, Git workflows, and responsive design principles
• A expert eye for visual design
• Ability to translate complicated technology into clean, low-friction user experiences
• Portfolio of live digital work showcasing your skill and approach to digital product design
Bonus points:
• Strong background in data analytics tools for web publishers
• Current hands-on knowledge of front-end coding languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript
