Hearst is seeking an innovative Recruiter who will be responsible for handling full cycle recruitment for mid to senior level positions; the types of positions would include engineering, data science/analytics, programmatic, ad operations and product development. This person will be key in defining talent attraction strategies that combine managing the company's reputation, pipelining for you respective client group and matching talent to the right role/team/manager.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage multi-channel sourcing solutions to develop a diverse pipeline of candidates for future job openings (cold calling, networking, job postings, employee referrals, social media, etc.)
• Become known, maintain an active presence and develop relationships within the digital communities and colleges; represent Hearst at industry events
• Evangelize the company, ensuring potential employees are excited about working at Hearst
• Partner with hiring managers to identify job specifications/competencies and create job descriptions
• Develop timely, cost-effective staffing strategies to identify and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for all job openings
• Act as career coach advising candidates and hires on the best path for their skill sets and mix of experiences
• Research and advise departments about best practice recruiting solutions
• Coach hiring managers on effective, legally sound interviewing techniques and legal boundaries
• Develop competitive offer packages including the ability to speak to all facets of an offer – base compensation, bonuses, vacation and other company benefits
• Utilize best practice screening and interviewing techniques to narrow the candidate pool
• Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the entire process
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 4-6 years' experience recruiting in a tech/digital focused environment
• Ability to handle high volume recruiting across all levels
• Exceptional ability to source both active & passive candidates using multiple resources (web searches, social media, networking, etc.)
• Solid experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment
• Passionate about relationships and recruiting
• Being a team player with demonstrable success building and maintaining networks
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
• Experience creatively and innovatively sourcing desirable candidates
• Must have the gravitas to interact with senior management
