Your impact:
The global brand & content strategy associate will help manage Hearst's global efforts in digital editorial, connecting Hearst's content teams around the world, providing intelligence around best practices, and implementing new business strategies. This job is based in New York City and reports to the senior content strategist, global. What you'll do:
• Partner with the Global Brand team to help develop global digital content strategy and best practices, keeping documentation updated and distributing regular communications, such as a regular newsletter
• Provide partnership and support for all O&O, JV, and Licensing partners for content and brand needs
• Help field and manage inbound international inquiries, compiling responses and insights from respective teams as needed, and ensuring timely responses to our partners
• Proactively address editorial issues and opportunities, finding synergies and areas for collaboration between international markets
• Develop connectivity and relationships with U.S. teams to keep tabs on what's working content-wise, what's new in Product, and more
• Along with the senior content strategist, serve as a key point of contact for the editorial and audience teams around the world on areas including website strategy, design, video, social, affiliate, and SEO; help organize and lead meetings on these topics and bringing in U.S. team members, when necessary
• Support global teams on getting access to platforms, data, and content; train new users on tools and troubleshoot when issues arise
• Support planning and execution of an annual global summit
Who you are:
• You have about 2 years of hands-on experience at a media company, preferably in a content or business strategy department
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• You are communicative and capable of building strong relationships with colleagues
• You are a lover of media with an interest in its continued evolution
