Hearst Autos is seeking a Director of Advertising Marketing to develop, write, and execute integrated proposals for advertisers (both in reaction to RFPs and proactively), leveraging the unique and collective brand assets of the Hearst portfolio of 22 magazine brands for auto

Responsibilities
-Ideate, pitch and execute client programs, including but not limited to: custom content (print, digital, and video), digital campaigns, events, etc.
-Establish ongoing partnerships with marketing/sales teams at various magazine brands across Hearst
-Lead brainstorms and manage input from numerous stakeholders across Hearst in multi-brand proposals (across print and digital) and project execution
-Ideate and create new tent-pole programs for Hearst Autos, running across multiple titles
-Create original pitch-decks for new programs from the ground up
-Manage timelines, budgets and invoices for client programs
-Develop proactive ideas, partnerships and new strategic alignments for the brands
-Attend agency/client meetings to present marketing concepts, working with selling partners to sell in new programs and ideas
-Direct and supervise designers, event managers, freelancers, and junior staff members on specific tasks under the umbrella of larger programs you are managing
-Ideate new programs that utilize emerging and first-to-market tech/social channels
-Ideate new ideas for custom video, animation, GIFS and memes
Requirements
-Minimum five years of related marketing experience
-Must be creative, dynamic and relentlessly innovative with a practical understanding of our business and the shifting media landscape
-Must work well under time constraints, be detail-oriented, organized and able to juggle multiple projects/priorities
-Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both writing and in the articulation of ideas
-Cross-platform fluency a plus; active in social media also a plus
-Knowledge of/experience in the Auto advertising categories a plus
-Proficient in PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, and Word, Google Suite.
