Hearst Magazines is looking for a Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the development of MyLo, our identity management solution. This position will report into the Senior Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with the technology and operations teams across Hearst Magazines.
Responsibilities:
• Grow the adoption of MyLo as an identity management, payments and privacy control solution across the digital ecosystem
• Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads to create new opportunities for MyLo
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
• Understand, document and interpret customer requirements to determine fit within MyLo's offering and craft solutions to meet their needs
• Work with platform sales engineers to develop customer specific applications of MyLo solution
• Contribute to the productization of MyLo's offerings by collecting and analyzing customer feedback, and sharing it with internal stakeholders
• Partner with our product teams to stay abreast of new product features and enhancements that could affect MyLo's offerings in the sales process
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience working in a sales engineering or solution architecting capacity, preferably in the digital industry
• Bachelor's degree
• B2B experience preferable
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Experience presenting company products to a wide variety of potential customers
• Experience working with varying partners, both internal and external, and strong client management skills
