Full Time Job
Oprah Magazine is in search of a Business Coordinator who will be involved with both the editorial and advertising business needs.
This position is a temporary position with a possibility of converting to full-time in the future. All applicants are applying knowing this is a temporary position.
Job description would include, but is not limited to the following:
• Monthly Mutual/Exclusive/Missing business report from PIB data
• Monthly SOM reporting for our CORE set plus extended comp set (Fashion/beauty/Food/Pharma/Home) – distributed to JF/JJ and sale team (MediaRadar)*
• Monthly SOM vs. Hearst title for top corp. accounts (MediaRadar)*
• Monthly Mutual/Exclusive/Missing business report from PIB data*
• MIC
• Create and upload writer and illustrator contracts
• Create vouchers, arrange for signature by ME, route to accounting
• Manage NY Immediates and advances as needed
• Trouble shoot late or missing payments
• Run cost records and ensure accruals are managed and closed in a timely way
• Help generate estimates for manuscript costs
• Work with ME to run cost analysis within MIC
• Order office supplies, business cards, etc
• edit business manager for all invoices , contracts , etc
• Marketing Department
Responsibilities
a. As-needed Starch ad efficiency analysis, including monthly presentation of results to staff
b. Monitoring and update of monthly materials and sell sheets
c. Prepare, maintain and update media kit materials, both in printed pieces and online
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
One year analytical experience preferred
Must be proficient in excel, word and powerpoint
Salesforce knowledge is a plus
