As the Audience Development Specialist, you will be working in the Audience and Partnerships Team to help analyze and develop campaigns to drive traffic and acquisition across the e-mail and paid social verticals to support audience growth for some of the top websites in the industry including: Best Products, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Delish, Elle, Elle Décor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, Redbook, Popular Mechanics, Road and Track, Seventeen, Town and Country, Veranda, and Woman's Day, Men's Health, Women's Health, Prevention, Runner's World, and Bicycling.
Responsibilities:
• Help manage the newsletter teams creation and deployment of e-mail campaigns supporting editorial, marketing, and product sales
• Manage newsletter key metrics and campaign specific reporting
• Partner with team on on-going e-mail leadgen efforts
• Take the lead on working with editorial on new strategies around win-back and welcome series rollouts
• Create and manage paid social campaigns for traffic driving and acquisition initiatives
• Track campaign performance and build recap reporting to help shape future campaign strategy
• Manage a variety of ad-hoc requests to deepen our understanding of how our brands are doing with our audience and competitive set.
Requirements:
• Hands on knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, to name a few)
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs - especially Excel
• Attention to detail, ability to manage a variety of projects at once
• Working knowledge of web analytics (Omniture and Google Analytics)
• Experience with Facebook Insights is a plus
• Previous experience with an ESP is also a plus
