Your Impact: The Hearst Visual Group is looking for a Visual Production Coordinator to join the team and work on the print and digital versions of our magazines. This person must be a problem solver and have a passion for photography.
What You'll Do:
• Help with photo production and shoot calendars
• Work with visual directors and art departments to source inspiring reference images and create mood boards for shoots
• Research photos for print and digital
• Manage invoices, department expenses, estimates, advances, contracts, call sheets and insurance
• Provide support for the Visual Group with administrative tasks
• Source props for photo shoots
• Keep track of and input photo/production credits
• Help with image processing and asset management which includes applying metadata to files, archiving them and creating PDFs
• Research new talent and current trends in photography
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in related field
• Passion for photography
• Ability to solve problems
• Able to work across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly as needed
