Hearst Magazines Digital Media is looking for a n Associate Director of Revenue Operations. This role will be responsible for providing analytics and business insights into Hearst Magazines revenue and salesforce activity. This position will report into the Senior Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with the finance, yield, sales and operations teams across Hearst Digital Media.
Responsibilities:
• Provide continuous reporting and business insights for Hearst Magazines revenue and sales activity
• Responsible for developing and creating business reviews including sales activity,
• Develop new insights into sales performance to help drive direct sales growth
• Discover and report out on advertising trends within Hearst Magazines including brand, vertical, product and site analysis
• Own communication and reporting of revenue and yield trends to senior leadership
• Apply quantitative techniques and systems to drive yield optimization, increase operational efficiencies, and unlock new revenue opportunities
• Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models, to support decision making
• Use trends and market insights to develop valuable recommendations
Qualifications:
• Education: BA/BS in business, statistics, advertising or related field
• 2-4 years of finance and/or analytics experience (digital advertising experience preferred)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
• Experience with Salesforce a plus
• Data driven thinking, excellent quantitative skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong project management skills preferred
• Power user of Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
