Full Time Unpaid Internship
Assist the Film Programming team in all functions of the acquisition process for Major, Indie and Latino content (through HBO''s established Output partners, Library and the growing Latino/Indie film-maker market). Screen/review referenced content for possible acquisition.
The Daily
• Research news stories for weekly news & box office update newsletter, as well as assist in adjunct film screenings for ratings and advisories
• Implement film meta-data (e.g. Box Office, Cast/Director, Synopsis, etc.) into a team shared source
• Operate Media Library tasks: film/title tracking and inventory reporting
• Perform film distribution analyses (on both the technology & competitor fronts).
The Essentials
• Film/TV/Media related Major.
• Ability to thoughtfully and creatively articulate and craft a film critique
• Moderate Excel/Word/PowerPoint abilities.
• PASSION and knowledge of film.
Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
• Summer 2021 program dates are June 7th - August 13th; must be available for full program duration.
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule.
• Fully remote/virtual experience; company owned laptop provided for the duration of the internship program.
• Salary based on office location; relocation is not provided.
• This position is targeted toward upperclassmen and graduate students.
