Position Summary
This position will provide front desk support for the Santa Monica office and will report to the SVP, Human Resources and Director, Facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
• Greet visitors, understand the nature of visitors' business, and provide appropriate information
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls with a positive, professional demeanor
• Responsible for scheduling/booking conference rooms and dealing with changes that arise.
• Operate a busy front desk using professional communication, problem solving and multitasking skills
• Take messages, make future appointments and/or maintain appointment log and team calendar.
• Perform occasional clerical and administration work assignments
• Maintain professional and discrete CONFIDENTIALITY regarding HBO's visitors and business.
REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 year's receptionist, customer service or related experience.
• Strong written, telephone and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, administration and customer service skills
• Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills required.
• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office.
• Skilled in developing correspondence from notes or instructions
• Strong multi-tasking skills
