Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks seeks a top-notch, experienced, full time assistant for immediate hire to provide administrative support to Managing Partner in our Music Group. Applicants must have 2 years or more of relevant experience as an Executive/Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include: interact comfortably and effectively with attorneys, clients and wide array of contacts, including high level executives, recording artists, artist managers and other representatives; professionally screen and manage telephone communications; manage email communications; schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls, and handle logistics for all;
create, revise, proofread and process documents; create and maintain client and attorney work files and databases; enter time for attorneys and prepare client invoices; prepare expense reports; handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion; travel arrangements as necessary; research and additional projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, responsible, adaptable and self-motivated with a positive disposition, excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Attention to detail, including strong follow-up skills, good judgement, the ability to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently, handle several tasks simultaneously and conduct all matters and communications in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Confidentiality and discretion are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2 years or more of prior experience as an Executive/Administrative Assistant required. Knowledge of and interest in current music trends a plus. This is not a remote position. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and observe all COVID-19 protocols.
