Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks, P.C. is currently seeking a top notch assistant to support our fast-paced paralegal team in day-to-day administrative tasks and projects largely related to music publishing and copyright. Applicants MUST have 1 year or more of relevant work experience, including the registration of songs with the performing rights societies, ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, as well as the mechanical licensing agency, The Harry Fox Agency, and registering musical and audio-visual works at the U.S. Copyright Office.
This position requires excellent organizational, communication and project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of paperwork. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and flexible with a positive disposition and ability to conduct all matters and communications in a professional and courteous manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience as an administrative assistant required. Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
This is not a remote position. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and observe all COVID-19 protocols.
