GBM (Gregg Baker Management) an established talent management company representing performing artists for Stage, Film & TV is currently seeking a motivated individual to work as the direct assistant to the Owner/President. Focus will be on New York based clientele. Someone with established administrative assistant experience regardless of the industry is preferred. Must be Washington D.C. based or within the surrounding vicinity.
Ideal candidate:
- Extremely strong communication skills--both written & verbal
- A proactive self-starter/team player
- Excel at problem solving
- Strong work ethic--no task is too small, and you will not stop until the task has been completed
- Effective at prioritizing and multi-tasking
- Thick skin/patience
- Knowledge of theatre is a huge plus!
- Flexible and easy going. Not every day is the same, you must be able to roll with the punches
- Outgoing with a sense of humor
- Tech savvy/familiar with PC operating systems
Responsibilities:
- Direct contact with casting offices, producers and managing client's schedules and appointments
- Arranging owners' calendar and periodically booking travel
- Schedule and confirm meetings
- Online research
- Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe-creating & maintaining documents and forms
- Occasional personal/business errands
- Keeping company social media platforms up-to date
Willing to train the right individual who is a fast learner, extremely driven and motivated!
Salary: DOE (hourly) + bonuses based on performance
Start date: Immediate
