Job Description: Grandma's House Entertainment is seeking development interns (unpaid) for the Fall 2018 semester. Applicants must be current students receiving school credit. Ideal candidates are self-starters, resourceful individuals that can work in a fast paced, ambitious environment. Editing skills are a HUGE plus, but not required. Duties include reading available properties, writing coverage, researching new projects and participating in development meetings as well as providing some office support to the the development team. Also, potential opportunity to get on-set experience. A great opportunity to learn about TV development in both scripted and non-scripted from founders Ben and Dan Newmark who have sold projects to multiple networks including FX, TBS, CW, SPIKE, and more with a focus on comedy. Recent projects include ''Coupled'' with Mark Burnett which aired on FOX, and ''Catching Kelce'' which aired on E!. Their scripted comedy ''Let's Get Physical'' recently aired it's first season on Pop. This fall will include exciting opportunities to learn about the pre-production and production process, as we are ramping up for two new shows with major networks!
