This position reports to the CEO and the Director of Business Development. This is a hybrid position; applicants must be located in either the NYC or D.C. area.
Responsibilities:
-Serve as the first point of contact with clients, agents, and artists
-Utilize Salesforce CRM for maintaining client account and sales pipeline data/reporting
-Assist with special projects, client lead research and CRM data maintenance
-Manage and maintain speaker and agent shared calendars (GSuite)
-Liaise with marketing contractors; exclusive speakers; clients; speakers bureaus
-Support all aspects of the sales cycle in partnership with Agents
-Support Exclusive Speaker business development strategies in a project-management capacity
-Maintain a deep understanding/willingness to learn about Gotham's Exclusive Speakers and the speaking industry (encompassing pop culture, celebrities, business speakers, etc.)
-Periodic on-call support for event logistics coverage
Qualifications:
-Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented, with the ability to cross-collaborate
-Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to changing priorities
-Excellent attention to detail
-Polished written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent project management capabilities; ability to maintain sharp focus in a rapidly-changing environment
-Experience using GSuite, Zoom, and Salesforce CRM a plus
-Ability to stay calm under pressure and remain solution-oriented during unexpected, sometimes last-minute issues
-Ability to think creatively for simple solutions to complex problems
-An understanding of current events and trends is a plus
