A Music Talent Agency representing renowned music composers in the Film/TV/Interactive Media industry is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. Located in Burbank, our agency works with leading entertainment production companies to connect our clients with composing opportunities for projects with worldwide audiences. This position is the friendly face and the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the office. Our receptionist performs all front desk activities, as well as providing support to various departments within our company and assisting our operations team in the day-to-day functions of our office.
As our receptionist you will:
• Answer incoming calls, route calls promptly to the correct staff member, and politely take messages when necessary.
• Greet visitors to our office and ensure they are taken care of as they wait in our lobby.
• Sort, process, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and parcels, including FedEx, UPS, and messenger pick-ups.
• Tidy and maintain the reception area and other communal spaces.
• Order and stock office supplies; maintain and organize our copy and supply rooms.
• Order and stock kitchen supplies; monitor and maintain our kitchens; brew coffee and set up our kitchens in the morning.
• Handle company stationary and business card orders.
• Assist various departments with basic administrative tasks.
What we're looking for:
• Previous front desk/phone experience is a huge plus.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as strong people skills.
• Great sense of professionalism with excellent judgment and discretion.
• Great organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment; this position will require someone who can keep calm and think clearly under pressure.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications and computer skills.
• ''No job is too small'' attitude, and willingness to pitch in when needed.
Hours are 9:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage and accrued PTO.
