Equipment Rentals
-Take ownership of the rental division procedures, and oversee rental department functionality and flow
-Master the rental inventory software and data entry; organize, maintain rental equipment; QA
-Recommend audio solutions to clients and co-workers
-Manage beginning to end Client Rental process (gathering show details, client insurance up to date, timely billing, payments, post job follow-up).
-Review show details with EIC for missing items and recommend corrections.
-Review Equipment Show-Ready cleanliness and quality control, coordinating any repairs with Shop Lead, Sr. Audio Engineer, and/or vendors
-Collaborate with EIC and Warehouse staff on Show Loads and executing Show Preparation
-Ensure all systems are protected, physically ''packed'' correctly, and tracked accurately in the rental software
-Coordinate necessary sub-rentals from our vendors for Goodman events; obtain the most competitive pricing from vendors; schedule pickup and returns in a timely manner; track and coordinate the return of lost items from returning shows
-Coordinate with shop crew on deliveries and pickups for rentals
-Recommend updates and changes, making the rental process more efficient overall, suggesting new Policies and Procedures
-Recommend purchases to expand rental department, coordinate with Operations for accurate rental equipment exposure online
-Have a clean driving record, have a flexible work schedule when needed, and coordinate delivery or/and pickup rentals
Inventory Control
-Learn and oversee all things dealing with the company's rental software program; work with Rental Point staff to correct any software issues, etc.; be the point person on functionality of RP
-Inventory input; ensure rental program is always up to date and accurate; barcode and label all new purchases; enter weights, pictures, purchase prices and purchase dates; ensuring pictures, and formatting of printouts are accurate.; organize equipment in the proper location in RP
-Keep Vendors, Clients, Venues and Rental Purchase Orders up to date
Equipment Sales
-Point person for client purchases
-Maintain current price sheets for vendors
General Skills & Outlook
-A passion for the professional live audio and communications industry, using the newest technology
-Solid understanding of, and experience with, all professional audio and communications equipment.
-Knowledgeable on current technologies - AES67, Dante, networking, etc.
-Detail oriented and organized with excellent time management skills
-Great people skills, patience, a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and professional and courteous with people on the phone
-Thinking ''outside the box''
-Participate in professional development; focus on acquiring, improving and applying technological and other skills that are essential to achieving the goals of the company
-Attend staff meetings and be prepared to share what you are doing with staff, share knowledge with co-workers, guide, mentor
