About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Manager, Revenue Accounting to be an integral contributor to the Finance and Business Operations teams. In this role, you will have a broad range of duties including review of monthly close items and overall responsibility for all revenue streams. To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter and possess great attention to detail, financial savvy, an aptitude for technology and financial systems and a strong desire to work within a fast-paced environment.

This is full-time position located in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain ownership of all revenue streams for both Team and Arena operations
• Manage the team in timely preparation and maintenance of revenue records and monthly close activities (ex. variance analysis, review journal entries, support your team with month-end revenue related reconciliations, etc.)
• Oversee cash receipts process
• Lead Annual Basketball Related Income Audit
• Assist in preparation of ear-end GAAP Audit as well as other NBA League specific audits
• Review monthly balance sheet and cash reconciliations to ensure company assets and liabilities are properly accounted for
• Work cross functionally across the company to develop system flows and integrations for the order to cash process, with a focus on revenue recognition data
• Review documentation to support the adoption of new accounting pronouncements and policy decisions
• Provide input to ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy
• Manage and mentor a team of 2-3
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or audit experience; Big Four CPA preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
• Deep understanding of revenue accounting, including ASC 606; previous adoption experience a plus
• Experience with ERP accounting software, preferably NetSuite
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Proactive and confident in identifying problems and solutions; tenacity and attention to detail and process
• Ability to efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once
