New York City based Artist Management company is looking for Interns that are bright and passionate about the music industry.
Duties may include assisting in maintaining the client databases and assisting with outreach, researching upcoming projects, and other general administrative tasks. Interns will also be responsible for updating artists websites and social media.
You must be a self-starter, be able to take direction, and work efficiently to complete assigned tasks. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the music business. Candidates should also have a strong musical background and desire to gain experience in music licensing/representation as well as working with all company departments. This internship is very hands on and you will gain experience in all areas of artist management.
Qualifications Should Include The Following
Administrative experience
Professional communication skills
Exceptional writing skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills (esp. Word and Excel)
Well versed in various genres of music
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
Wordpress
Experience with editing software is a plus
Mac proficient
Willing to work from your own computer
Salary: This internship is unpaid. College credit is available if needed.
