Role Summary and Responsibilities:
Currently we require a Product Marketing Lead to join our vibrant marketing team and to lead the product marketing. Working closely with globally based teams in Montreal, California, London and Chicago and to drive the overall marketing strategy across multiple digital markets and to our Business Leaders. This position is flexible could be based in either our London, UK offices or alternatively could be based in California, US offices although the candidate must have the relevant right to work for these countries.
• Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market, identifying their core value proposition
• Communicate the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
• Be responsible for gathering, verifying and assembling the go-to-market information for the company's Product Suite
• Shape product roadmap, feature experiences and messaging through expert knowledge of the customers
In partnership with the Product Management team develop and maintain a detailed matrix of every product feature set
• Be required to liaise across the verticals, working with Aviation, Maritime and Land to ensure all products have complete clarity and purpose in the market (Field Marketing)
• Pro-actively identify product teams and individuals, to ask the questions which gather the information to build the product story
• Work with the global Sales and Client Account Management teams so that all client input and market information is gathered and centralized in an open access database
• Work with business analyst teams for a 360 viewpoint of all products helping measure their market relevance and commercial viability
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure consistent messaging of the products throughout the Marketing Collateral
• Through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas
• Work with relevant Creative Teams to create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and social media posts
• Work with Marketing Events and Communication to strategically and tactically plan and deploy Product Launches, Demonstrations and Campaigns
• Speak and present the Product Suite and individual Products to both external and internal audiences
• Be an integral part of the information collation and creation for Product Marketing collateral design and output, including but not exclusive to; Web, Print, Digital, Social
• Work alongside Marketing Creative to generate a consistent templated Product Marketing Suite, for Sales, Presentations, RFPs etc.
• As part of the marketing team, be supportive of the wider team requirements where your knowledge is relevant
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Product Marketing in the technology space
• Strong working knowledge in Salesforce and CRM software
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365
• Operational background experience
Recommended Skills:
• Collaborative skills - ability to partner with various functions and teams within the business
• The ability to analyze and distill data into actionable insights and relevant product marketing improvements
• Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
• Strong track record of delivering large-scale projects and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Aviation, Maritime and Market sectors around connectivity and entertainment, in the main digital media experience.
Skills / Interests:
• Knowledge and interest in the Media business
• Actively engaged with new media
• Eager to embrace new technologies
