The Payroll Analyst will report to the Director, Global Payroll and be part of a dynamic team. The Payroll Analyst performs all activities necessary to process (2) or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and processes biweekly and/or monthly payroll for 1 or more entities; review and ensure the accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all special pays, garnishments, and other special payroll deductions
Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, accounting, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, e.g. labor '' home'' work, overtime, leave balances, headcount, and retirement contribution reports)
Handles the administration of the electronic timekeeping system. Set up each employee, valid programs for each employee's charge, and adherence to FLSA; monitor submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service*
Establish/maintain employee records in ADP; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to APA policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations
Responsible for balancing runs and ensuring all compliance reports are prepared and fully reconciled
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping the information confidential
Performs timely and accurate preparation of semi-monthly & off-cycle runs while ensuring employees are paid in compliance with regulatory laws and company policies
Provides support in the Monthly/Quarterly/Year-end process and/or audits as requested by business units and HR/Finance
Responsible for ensuring the processing of all withholding tax issues, including quarterly and annual balancing and audits
Assure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state and local taxes in various states where the company has employees. This includes in some case establishing a new location
All other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge and understanding of the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
Bilingual language proficiency, Spanish, required to express thoughts clearly and concisely in both language
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage projects or assignments that are moderately complex in nature where professional judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations
Ability to handle internal customer inquiries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure complete resolution
Must be able to work independently and in a global team environment to establish strong cross-functional relationships
Expert knowledge using MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Business Administration/Finance required, Accounting Degree preferred
Minimum of three-plus years in a payroll department performing all payroll functions; Three years additional required payroll office experience in lieu of Associate's degree
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation, preferred
International payroll experience, a plus
Experience using payroll application such as ADP Total Source, Comprehensive, WorkforceNow, Streamline, or similar cloud-based applications
