Senior/HR Generalist - People Services
Reporting to the Director, People Services, the People Services Generalist will offer tactical and hands-on support by providing human resources expertise in the areas of employee engagement, talent acquisition, organizational development, process mapping, employee service and training. This role partners with our VP, People Services and our global HR team to execute strategic HR initiatives to meet business needs and foster an environment that reflects the company's culture.
Key responsibilities:
More specifically, your responsibilities as an HR Generalist will be:
Understanding the business requirements of your client groups and providing support in a variety of human resources functions
Facilitating the recruiting process, such as creating job descriptions and coordinating interviews with hiring managers
Owning the new hire process beginning from the new employee orientation through first 90 days
Maintaining effective working relationships and environment with employees to promote a harmonious and stimulating working environment
Providing tactical support, advice and solutions to managers and employees regarding org charts, benefits, salary/compensation guidelines, performance management processes, talent acquisition, policy interpretation and training to meet business needs
Championing overall processes and procedures that align People Services initiatives
Providing employment standards to ensure compliance with local policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
5 years in HR
Bachelor's Degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related field
A focus on solutions and comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that demands strong deliverables
Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
Strong communication skills and leadership abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Internal and external customer service focus
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously - oriented on results
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic, self-starter and highly resilient
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to assure successful interaction with high level executives, clients, business associates, and employees
Experience working in a startup or sales environment preferred

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the mobility for the employee regularly requires sitting, frequent near vision use for reading and computer, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching and other physical exertion
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear
Lifting and/or carrying of up to 25 lbs
