Ginsberg/Libby is a boutique public relations firm formed in 2009 that focuses on film, film festivals, awards, television, corporate branding, and interactive marketing. With a combined 23 years of experience successfully working in public relations, Ginsberg and Libby joined forces to create a vibrant new company with a fresh perspective.
We are looking to hire a full time receptionist interested in pursuing a career in publicity. Primary responsibilities include answering calls, booking travel, ordering office supplies, submitting expenses, assisting partners with scheduling, helping with projects, occasionally covering screenings and events in the evening, and assisting team members when needed.
Ideal candidate will be hard-working, highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, with excellent phone manner. The candidate will also support the television awards account and will spearhead client submissions for various awards throughout the year. Ideal candidate wants to be part of a fun, interactive environment for years to come and is interested in PR as a long-term career.
Requirements:
Minimum one year office experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Publicity experience preferred
College degree from an accredited university
Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of pop culture and entertainment landscape
Strong writing and research skills
Ability to multitask, juggle multiple deadlines and prioritize in a very fast paced environment
Proactive, detail-oriented and well-organized
Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
Ability to work independently when needed without constant oversight
Experience working with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Media Databases (Cision), FileMaker Pro, etc.
