FYI has an immediate need for a dynamic and enthusiastic Publicity Assistant to join the LA Team. The Assistant will gain hands-on public relations experience working within our music, lifestyle brands, and social good divisions. Working closely with the Account Coordinators and company CEO, we are looking for a hard-working, business-minded go-getter who is able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment with the skill-set to manage multiple tasks. Salary commensurate upon experience.
About Our Company: FYI Brand Group is a boutique firm in New York and Los Angeles specializing in combining and creating the trends of consumer products, entertainment, and pop culture. We encompass a range of divisions including recording artists, athletes, tech companies, non-profit organizations, and fashion brands. We have the same resources as a large agency but the ability to provide detailed attention to our clients; at our firm, we specialize in staying on the cusp of all things pop culture.
Duties Will Include:
Daily admin tasks - heavy scheduling, connecting calls/call minutes, provide assistance directly to the CEO, updating media lists and databases, daily morning news research, client media monitoring, daily media discovery.
Manage the office - including scheduling housekeeper, ordering supplies, shipping, managing interns.
Monthly client billing
Manage company payroll via ADP
Drafting new client contracts
Pay and manage all company bills
New business proposals
Monthly client newsletter
Social media posting & acct management
Keep all client one-sheets and pitches updated
Providing assistance on account management
Event management
Manage press breaks, press clippings, and other press materials
Manage filing for physical press clippings
Monitoring press coverage daily
Development of press materials including press releases, media alerts, style IDs, artist bios, and more
Client offers - put in google dos
Security logins and passwords
Making new email accounts for new employees + adding to slack + to client team alias emails
Adding new employees to Brivo
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1-year admin experience
Experience in PR preferred
Entertainment experience preferred
Proficiency in Cision, Slack, Google Suite, Outlook
Strong writing and verbal communication skills are required
Must be a self-starter and have strong problem-solving abilities
