FX Networks is seeking an Event Manager to support publicity activities as part of the Communications and Publicity teams. This role will report to the Executive Director of Talent Relations and Events to manage all aspects of network events, projects and festivals. This person must be creative, forward thinking and have their pulse on the latest trends and venues in LA, NYC and everywhere in between! You must be result-oriented and should possess excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills. Must be self-motivated, pay attention to detail and be able to communicate with senior staff and vendors to ensure successful events. This is a fast-paced environment so it is imperative to move quickly and professionally while getting the job done.
The Manager will work alongside the team that is helping shape and manage campaigns for our content, meaning that he/she will have to be in sync and contribute to improve campaigns with new and innovative event ideas. Strong candidates can handle a vast amount of work and they are eager to learn. They are organized, thorough and excited to work long hours as no assignment should be too big or too small. Activities will range from hiring vendors, to handling all aspects of an event, to maintaining and updating guest lists, to working a check-in table. The responsibilities are wide-ranging. This role with interface with all facets of the FX organization and FX talent.
