POSITION SUMMARY
Based in our New York office and reporting into the head of Advertising Sales & Integrated Marketing, Fuse Media is currently seeking an integrated marketing executive to lead the strategic vision and creation of innovative marketing solutions for advertisers and their associated agencies. This individual is a dynamic and creative thinker who conceptualizes and implements innovative multi-platform packages for Fuse Media's advertising clients that span linear, digital, branded, event and social. The ideal candidate should have a passion for developing targeted sponsorship packages for clients that are engaging, drive revenue and provide meaningful solutions within a dynamic media environment. He/she is passionate about understanding and leveraging data, and has an intuitive sense of what will resonate with Fuse's audience and clientele.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Spearhead development of integrating marketing and branded content/native advertising programs from brainstorming/ideation stage through activation
* Package high--quality proposals and presentations that deliver multi--platform client focused solutions while leveraging media, promotional & activation concepts, social, and sponsorship opportunities
* Lead the strategy and development of the upfront and new front presentations and communication plans
* Identify, create and lead strategic & tactical marketing partnerships tied to events, artists, strategic partners and brand IP
* Identify high--interest content experiences, new on--air and site--specific content features, evergreen and event--based solutions and emerging ad platforms that will serve as compelling thought starters for client conversations
* Liaise and collaborate with all appropriate internal groups (Content, Digital, Marketing, Research, etc.) to facilitate efficient and transparent communication and creative solutions
* Effectively translate content initiatives into sell-able opportunities for Ad Sales team
* Manage client--specific RFP brainstorms: partner with cross--departmental teams to formulate integrated marketing and creative strategies that are customized to fit specific client objectives
* Partner with sales and marketing leadership to identify sales priorities and solutions to drive revenue goals
* Partner with Pricing & Planning department to apply monetization strategies to new ideas and advertiser opportunities
* Partner with Ad Sales to effectively manage positive client and agency relationships
* Oversee all client communication, events and hospitality
QUALIFICATIONS
* 12 years of creative and marketing--related experience at an integrated/creative agency, media/publishing or content company
* Minimum of 5 years of management experience
* Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent combination of education/experience and/or training – MBA preferred
* Experience within a content company where the individual participated in ad sales marketing, integrated marketing, presentation, creative and promotions development and execution
* Proven ability to create digital/multi--platform solutions and impactful brand narratives
* Extensive knowledge of digital advertising vendors and affiliates, ad management tools and research tools
* Ability to effectively translate a brand's/client's needs into actionable programs from ideation through campaign completion
* Demonstrable ideator coupled with analytical excellence, superior communication skills (presentation and written) and an ability to forge strong interpersonal relationships
* Ability to understand research and analytics in an effort to create content and marketing plans that are informed by audience and consumer data
* Understanding of rate structures, inventory management, budget development and compensation plans
* Knowledge of program rating methodologies and ratings and cost per point analysis is a plus
* Ability to travel as needed (10--15%)
