full coverage communications is seeking a Publicity Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the company's President.
We are looking for a candidate who has interest in personal publicity (spanning music, television, film, and beyond), takes initiative, can stay organized & prioritize multiple running projects in a fast-paced environment, maintains confidentiality, has a willingness to learn and is a positive team player. Strong writing, leadership, and client service skills are required, along with knowledge of the current media landscape. Previous publicity experience is strongly preferred.
This role has room for career growth and is designed to train future publicists in all aspects of the job. There are plenty of learning opportunities, as the role will include working on both established A-list clients as well as rising talent.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting publicists across client accounts
• Create, manage and coordinate detailed itineraries/schedules for all client press activities
• Tracking & servicing press clippings to clients daily
• Sending clients memos in timely, professional manner
• Organizing and handling incoming press requests, including helping execute from conception to fruition
• Covering client press activities as needed - phone interviews, red carpets, premieres, press events, etc.
• Ongoing maintenance and updating of media lists, industry contacts and event lists
• Tracking award show nominations, wins and appearances
• Ensuring client press materials/bios are current
• Writing client press releases
• Pitching clients for interviews and appearances as needed
• Handle client hair/makeup/styling needs
• Participating in team brainstorms for client strategies and publicity plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years of experience working full-time in entertainment (publicity preferred) and strong knowledge of the industry is required
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google Drive/Docs & Dropbox
• Proficient in entertainment research based programs such as Muckrack, Critical Mention and Press Reader
• Excellent and proven writing skills
• Professional and friendly people skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Responsive and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to think critically, anticipate needs, stay several steps ahead with details and be resourceful
• Punctuality and reliability
• Team player attitude
