Lead Product Designer
Responsibilities:
Lead an internal team of UX, UI, and visual designers to support the redesign of our clients web and native app product experience.
Develop prototypes/wireframes that align with overall product strategy, business goals, with a user need centric approach.
Lower friction and overwhelm with the highest quality application of solid information architecture, UX/UI strategy and best practices.
Develop and Design elegant solutions to complex sets of needs cross product experience.
Develop and lead the creation of end to end user flows (from acquisition, to check out, to in-product) and develop effective prototypes in partnership with client-side in-house creative and engineering teams.
Partner cross-functionally with client-side in-house product, development, and Marketing teams to help shape a holistic product direction and champion product strategy goals, UX/UI best practices and a user need centric design approach.
Work with multiple teams to define and execute design requirements, wireframes, flow diagrams, product experience architecture, high-quality mockups, and specifications
Work with User Research teams to develop and verify all aspects of product design.
Expand and implement existing design system and brand guidelines, patterns, and libraries
Be accountable for product design work on time delivery, and working with client-side engineering and product development resources to manage longer term delivery and implementation timelines, maintaining strong attention to detail and the needs of the product, brand, and our customers.
Qualifications:
6+ years of professional experience as a product designer, creating product design end-to-end for multiple devices and platforms with a proven track record of independently leading projects and managing designers
A quick learner and self-starter, with an inherent sense of empathy and ability to lead others and work collaboratively
A willingness to provide regular, direct and impactful feedback in team meetings and engage designers to help them grow their interpersonal and design skills
An extensive online portfolio of design work, showcasing your role in creating products with a clean visual aesthetic and eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills supported by strategic thinking and data-driven design
Strong design foundation in UI/UX design, research, user flows, site architecture, prototyping, and user research/testing
Practical knowledge of user testing methodologies
Proficient in visual and web design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and the Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, Microsoft Office, GSuite and Slack.
