Description:
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the Partner of a PR company in Los Angeles. This position is ideal for someone who aspires to be an entertainment publicist.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing calendar, including scheduling meetings
• Track phone and email correspondence
• Logging and rolling calls
• Keeping a log of business contacts
• Arranging travel accommodations
• Assisting with the coordination of projects and events, as necessary
• General office and administrative duties
• Drafting emails and memos
• Attending events
• Special duties as needed
Skills and requirements:
• Proficient in PC/Mac; MS Word, Excel, Google Calendar and Docs.
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail and effective follow through.
• An ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, tracking and entering information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem solver with ability to self-manage.
• At least 1 year experience working for a talent agency or PR firm
• Ability to roll calls
• Know names and players in the industry
• Must be thick skinned
• Cision experience is a plus
