Full Time Job
Job Description: The New Media Coordinator will report to the New Media Manager. This role will coordinate delivery of programs for worldwide Electronic Sell-Through and VOD platforms, including master video elements, metadata compilation within platform requirements, and acquisition of accompanying materials
Job Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Sales and Operations worldwide to obtain information about materials to Electronic Sell-Through and VOD platforms
• Acquire and organize materials for metadata creation for delivery to Digital Platforms
• Build metadata for delivery to Digital Platforms, including but not limited to, XML script
• Liaise with facilities house (outsourced) and dispatch contractors to ensure media selected and shipped correctly
• To have a full understanding of all digital mastering and delivery options of broadcast materials.
• Process Material Requisitions per Sales requests
• Track cost of mastering, prep, and/or delivery for each title/platform
• General problem solving and customer enquiry handling
• Progress chasing where appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within entertainment industry. Internship experience may apply
• Prior experience on video mastering for international use.
• Prior experience servicing materials to Digital Platforms preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic XML skills
• Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly and prioritize multiple requests
• Demonstrate initiative to independently identify needs and flexibility to help out where needed
• Must be a team player
