Crew Leaders needed for educational nationally touring children's exhibit show.
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities/attributes:
- Must be 18 years or older. No exceptions.
- Must pass criminal background check. No exceptions. Crew leaders will be working with children and the general public.
- Must pass drug tests. No exceptions. Crew leaders will be working with children and the general public.
- Must have and keep current a valid United States state-issued driver's license. A State ID is not acceptable as crew leader/tour
manager will drive the tour pick-up truck and trailer unit or a 26' (or larger) box truck.
- Crew Leader will be responsible for all communications with venue personnel and staff the day of the show. Crew Leaders must
maintain professional demeanor, attitude and appearance at all times while representing our company.
- Crew Leader must be able to responsibly and properly handle cash, including but not limited to collecting cash,counting cash and
recording cash amounts for deposit. All sales, cash and credit/debit, are reported through Point of Sale devices.
- Crew Leader will be responsible for making regular bank and ATM deposits while on tour.
- Crew Leader must be proactive in maintaining appropriate amount of show supplies needed to be purchased and stocked on a regular
basis. Crew Leader will be issued a company debit card for this purpose.
- Crew Leader responsible for fueling tour vehicle. Company debit card provided for this purpose.
- Crew Leader will be responsible to check tire pressure and condition weekly of all tires on tour rig.
- Crew Leader responsible for checking oil in tour vehicle according to the provided maintenance schedule.
- Crew Leader expected to maintain proper and regular communication via phone or text with tour manager located at the company's
office.
- Must be able to tour the continental United States without legal restrictions
- Team player who can be trusted to complete tasks independently
- Crew Leader must be able to work with crew member to complete tasks as well as delegate tasks to crew member as needed.
- Must be physically fit and able to push and pull large wheeled ATA cases with assistance of one other crew member
- Must be able to lift and carry (for short distances) at least 25 lbs without incident or strain
- Upon hiring, crew leader must be bonded and insured (at your own expense) as you will be working with money. It is your
responsibility to keep this insurance current while subcontracted by our company.
- Must be customer service oriented and professional at all times while working or representing the company
- Must be comfortable and prepared to work away from home and away from loved ones for long periods of time. This tour is almost 9
months long.
- Other duties as assigned/needed.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to different situations with ease and professionalism.
