Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for FoxNext
Twentieth Century Fox seeks a senior level business and legal affairs attorney to support FoxNext with a primary focus on video games and interactive entertainment.
The ideal candidate will have worked for a video game publisher or developer, have substantial knowledge of games publishing, development and distribution for mobile, console and PC platforms, and possess extensive experience drafting and negotiating a high volume of agreements within the video game industry, including, software development and publishing, IP and content licensing, software and technology licensing and services, marketing and promotion, advertising, MSAs, and consulting agreements.
This position will regularly interact with and advise game developer and production personnel, as well as corporate executives within Fox, and therefore requires substantial prior experience providing such advice. Strong background in copyright issues and rights clearance matters is also a plus.
This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in a comparable in-house video game or interactive industry environment. Excellent communication, creative problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced in-house environment are essential. This attorney must be self-motivated and take initiative and ownership of their work. California State Bar membership is required.
